Position overview
This is a strategic leadership role for a dynamic, results-oriented professional with expertise in project and operations management and team leadership within consultancy or industrial manufacturing environments. You will drive operational efficiency, enhance service delivery and ensure the seamless execution of energy management projects.
Key responsibilities
Operational strategy and execution
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with EM3's business goals and industry best practices
- Oversee the end-to-end execution of energy management solutions for industrial manufacturing clients
- Establish and monitor KPIs to track operational effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
Energy management, consultancy and technical services
- Lead the development and execution of initiatives that enhance energy efficiency in manufacturing
- Collaborate with engineering and data analytics teams on energy optimisation strategies
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
Team leadership and development
- Lead, mentor and develop high-performing operations teams
- Provide strategic direction and professional development opportunities
- Promote diversity, equity and inclusion
Client and stakeholder management
- Serve as the key operational liaison between EM3 and industrial manufacturing clients
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, regulators and industry partners
- Oversee contract management, vendor negotiations and procurement strategies
Financial and resource management
- Develop and manage operational budgets
- Optimise resource allocation to support business growth
- Collaborate with finance teams on forecasting and financial planning
Technology and innovation
- Leverage IoT, AI-driven analytics and automation to enhance energy management processes
- Stay informed about emerging trends in energy efficiency and industrial sustainability
- Drive digital transformation initiatives
Qualifications and experience
- Proven experience in operations leadership within engineering consultancy, industrial manufacturing or energy management
- A strong background in process optimisation, strategic planning and operational execution
- Expertise in energy management solutions and sustainability practices is advantageous
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- A track record of managing cross-functional teams and fostering continuous improvement
- Financial acumen, with a record of budget and cost optimisation
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
