His background is in mechanical engineering, with hands-on experience across steam, boilers, heat recovery, utilities optimisation and project delivery for pharma, biopharma and industrial manufacturing sites.

Shane Marren leads EM3's energy audit and compliance work, with deep experience in industrial energy audits, ISO 50001 energy management systems, measurement and verification, and carbon reduction strategies. He has worked across biopharma, medical device, dairy and food manufacturing sites, helping teams understand where energy is being used, where savings are hiding, and what needs to happen next.

Alysia DeSimone is an Energy Engineer based in Chicago, with a background in chemical and environmental engineering and experience across commercial and industrial energy efficiency programmes.
